Commenting

  • This site uses a small plugin that removes the rel=”external nofollow” rule from commenter’s name links, so by commenting you are effectively creating a back link to your blog or website. Don’t panic, back links are good thing! You can read more about ‘dofollow’ here.
  • Due to the above plugin the comments section is like a honey pot to spammers, so in addition to Askimet anti spam I use a simple math question to keep them at bay.
  • I hold comments from new users in moderation, just to have a quick check that a spammer hasn’t slipped through and that nothing illegal has been said. Once your initial comment has been approved your subsequent comments will go live immediately. Which is why I retain the right to amend any content that I deem inappropriate.

  • Guest Authors - If you would like to contribute a one of article for inclusion on this site, thereby creating a nice back link to your blog, please use the contact form and run your idea by me. Perhaps you have an idea for an article that’s not in keeping with your blogs usual content?
  • Category Authors - I am very interested in talking to potential Category Authors. We have the ability to swap backgrounds and headers to establish different looks for your category, separate feeds are obviously available. Motoring (in general or more specific), Property development being two categories that appear to be popular. However I am open to suggestion, get in touch!

I am running some google ads on the site at present, they look a little like this.
