Cadbury showcase new talent

Having enjoyed a few beers, perhaps just one too many, whilst watching the game I had gone into stare mode in front of the television. Suddenly I am snapped back to ‘the here and now’ by some amazing imagery…

Completely taken aback by what I thought I had just witnessed I immediately did what any other human being would have done, with one hand I hit rewind on the Sky+ remote and with the other hand I entered Cadbury Gorilla into the Google search bar on the laptop sitting beside me.

I have, of course, joined the Cadburys Gorilla Advert Appreciation Society over at Facebook. Now it’s still early days but my current favourite is probably this one -

You got to love it, way too much time on their hands!

    I completely love this advert, it is genius, whoever thought this nondescript advert, that leaves you thinking… What was that? What was it all about? And like most Adverts… What was it for?, would be so memorable.

    When I saw the advert I laughed my head off, I never expected the drums etc. and all I have done since is talk about it.

    Its amazing and I am loving the teddy bear version.

    Keep them coming Mr Sirius

    its shit, absolutely piss poor. probably the worst advert i’ve ever seen. ive just watched it. i was expecting a revelation. instead i got a minute of dullness when i could of been counting the rice in the uncle ben’s bag of rice. it would of been better if phil collins came out from behind the set, the gorilla gets up totally annoyed with having to listen to such rubbish and leathers him.

    now this is a funny advert;

    I love this advert - though I should really think it’s rubbish as it’s nothing at all to do with chocolate!!

    Mmmm, chocolate….

    the john west advert is superb!, its advertising disgusting tinned salmon, where u get those long thin bones that you have to pick out or face the miserable ordeal of chewing em.

    but it’s now on my shopping list.

    I have to agree with Clive, I am afraid Gary..

    “it’s a real gorilla, anyone can see that”

    It’s the right shape for Wayne Rooney however, no one gets hit and there aren’t any tears.

    Have you seen the cut down version of the ad, it’s awful in comparison. Just a Gorilla playing some drums.
