I have had to change my IP address three times this evening to achieve some very minor changes to this little blog! Keep in mind I have a reseller package that includes unlimited web space and data transfer with the ability to resell hosting to my clients. And the reason for this and I quote..
Your IP address has been temporarily blocked by our firewall for opening too many concurrent connections to this server, it should be automatically released within a few hours.
How so?, I hear you ask
I had the audacity to upload five images via FTP (limited to 3 concurrent connections), insert a table into the database via phpMyAdmin whilst writing the PHP connection script in Dreamweaver! I know what your thinking… you mad man, that could blow the server clean out of it’s rack!
Harsh but fair…
I don’t think so, these guys previously froze an account that I had spent many weeks promoting and then, for seven days swore blind it wasn’t their doing. The site had been google ranked and was getting 600+ unique visits a day! I had been approached by potential advertisers (there was money on the table)
Heartinternet locked it down to the point that I couldn’t even SHH the files out. By the time I had changed the DNS to a new host the whole thing had dried up, no traffic, no advertising contracts!
How can you have any confidence when reselling this?

I feel your pain. I just got out of sales chat with them and I have determined that like any other company that offers unlimited anything, they are lying. I went through their AUP and they will basically shut your site down for using 5% of the server. If you have a video on your site they will shut you down if you hit 25 GB of bandwidth.
